Description

Farm located in the village of Castillo de Locubín, Jaén, around 7 km from the village. It´s included in Climate Unit 9 (Sub-humid continental Mediterranean of cold winters and warm summers). The average slope of the plot is 22.7%. The soil is clay and has an average organic matter content of 2.23%.The plot has an area of4 ha with irrigated intensive olive groves with groundcovers (spontaneous vegetal cover and pruning), and 1 ha with irrigated intensive olive groves under conventional tillage. Groundcovers has been established for the last 7 years.
