Farm located in the village of Osuna, Seville, around 7 km from the village. It´s included in Climate Unit 2 (Mediterranean with sub-humid maritime influence). The farm has an area of 200 ha, with irrigated woody crops (olive groves) with ground covers(34 ha) and rainfed extensive crops in conventional tillage (cereal-leguminous-oilseed crop rotation). The crop established in the plot in the first monitoring season is sunflower.
The average slope of the plot is 0.8%. The soil is clay loam and has an average organic matter content of 1.43%.
The principles based on Conservation Agriculture are implemented in the farm for the last three seasons, such as no-till, maintaining the stubblesover the soil and crop rotation.
